Rubén E. Reyes (CDMX Mexico, 1979) is a Mexico City based documentary photographer who focuses on the impact of transitions, whether it be of individuals or communities, and the effects it has on them and the environment they reside in. Drawing on his personal experience as an immigrant and having lived in more than half a dozen cities around the world has given him a sense of place in different cultures and is what inspires him to pursue photographic projects.
Reyes obtained a certificate degree from the International Center of Photography in the Documentary/Photojournalism (2008) and received his MFA from the University of Hartford (2019).
